Last night I participated in my first public forum. It was so fun being able to get up in front of everyone and share about myself and my ideas for Greeley!  The format was rigorous and I often felt like I didn't have enough time. 😂 It forces you to get to the point quickly. I'm so thankful for the opportunity and I believe I was able present the kind of leader you can expect and trust in me. Thank you Barb and LWV for hosting the event and being so kind!

Today, I met with Firefighters Dave Mancuso and Shawn Eggleston! Its always fun meeting with first responders as I’ve spent the majority of my IT career supporting their equipment. I left with a deeper understanding of their needs both in staffing and the ongoing equipment delays. They are competing for talented people with all our surrounding agencies and must focus on creative ways to bring them here. Their call load continues to increase exponentially as the city grows. I hope that as a Council, we can continue to try to make their jobs a little easier. Thank you Greeley Fire for your service to our community!
