Visit to Mount Rushmore!

Lynette and I took the kids to see Mount Rushmore for the first time. I had no idea how rich with history this site is. Absolutely overwhelming how proud I am to be an American. We are so blessed to have forefathers that worked so hard so that we can enjoy so much.


The purpose of Mount Rushmore National Memorial is to commemorate the founding, expansion, preservation, and unification of the United States.

Debbie Pilch Endorsement!


This afternoon, I had the absolute pleasure meeting with Debbie Pilch who is President of the Greeley Art Association and former 2 time City Councilwoman! She and I share a love for the local art community. She enjoys painting in water colors and I tend to lean toward Comic Book & Manga art. 😁 She has a long history of involvement in our community and has lots of wisdom to share. Greeley City Council Meeting Tonight


Tonight was quite exciting as one of the topics is close to my heart... 3D Printing! Greeley City Council met tonight with Alquist 3D who is a company that uses large robotic machines to 3D print homes. This plan is so very interesting! They plan to kickoff a new industry here in Greeley! The plan will move the company to Greeley and potentially partner with Aims Community college. Aims would provide a location for their factory and assist in the training necessary for professionals to support this growing operation. While the deal isn't final, I will definitely be keeping an eye on how this project progresses. In the meantime, I will keep 3D printing on my resin-based Saturn S machine.

Meeting Greeley Deputy Fire Chief Chris Ellmer


I was given an outstanding tour of Greeley Fire Station 1! Wow! I'm so impressed with what Deputy Chief Ellmer showed me today! Chief Kuznik and his team have done a great job building a modern Fire agency! I have a background myself in working with Public Safety and I was amazed with the similarities and the differences between neighboring departments. It was quite reassuring to see the level of attention to detail they have for all their equipment and how they support our community. Big "THANK YOU" to Deputy Chief Ellmer and to the other Firemen that were so welcoming to me and willing to share information!

Meeting with Ben Ferguson

I spent time with Ben Ferguson, an Estes Park business owner, Loveland resident and friend. While we normally meet on the basketball court, today, we're taking it a little easy to discuss a difficult topic. Ben runs a homeless ministry in Loveland and has lots of insights into how they live and why they are in their situations. The Unhoused are of major interest and concern to everyone I speak to. I'm thankful for the time he spent with me and his willingness to further my understanding on the subject. Thank you so much Ben! 🏀

We met yesterday and had a wonderful time talking about all of the interesting work she is doing for Weld County. She is a very smart and decisive Legislator and I'm so happy she was willing to share her decades worth of knowledge with me. Thank you so much Barbara Kirkmeyer!

Ed Clark Endorsement!!!


Today, I received the news from Ed Clark that he’d be endorsing me for his City Council at Large seat! I cannot express how humbled I am to get his support! As many of you know, he has a health condition that is making it difficult for him to serve. 😔 He has a long history of service with the Evans PD, Greeley PD, as Greeley Mayor, University Schools Security Director, and Greeley City Council. He is stepping away from a great track record of service. It is very important to me that I honor his legacy and put forth the same energy and passion that he has. Ed, you are a tough act to follow! I appreciate you my friend!

I had the pleasure this morning to meet with Harold Evans who serves on the Greeley Water Board. What an amazing history of water knowledge and how it has shaped and continues to affect Greeley. Though I did my homework ahead of time, there is nothing that could prepare you for this subject. I gained a full 360 degree perspective on the issues that we face. Thank you Harold!

I had a long talk with a special friend of mine since deciding to run for Greeley City Council. I feel so inspired and motivated to stay on target and focused on doing the work needed to make our city a better place for everyone! Given my history in working with Public Safety (primarily police) in my Information Technology job, it was easy to enjoy my time with this amazing public servant. It is so interesting to see the commonality that many police departments share and the struggles they face. He has a great sense of humor! At the end of the day, he is a husband and a dad who loves his family and baseball (😄). 👍🏽👏🏽
